Beauty Salon Experience

Hello everyone! So, the 5th day was my Beauty Salon experience. In Dubai you can find these salons everywhere but, I was given the opportunity to try twelve treatments by these wonderful friends I met there! I made two appointments for all treatments, one on monday and the another one on friday. On monday I did, as said on the brochure:

- Legs, Underarms and Bikini Waxing - Did you knew in Dubai people use to do hands, arms and even back and stomach waxing? That was really weird for me! Going on, the girl who did this was great and really kind to me! She was fast and almost painless. Even for me, really, I am like a little girl on this.

- Upperlip Threading - First time I did it. Threading of course, otherwise I would be a moustache girl ! Ahah! I thought it would hurt but it was really efficient, fast and painless!

- Face Cleanup - I really was needing to do one of those! It was great!

- Deep Conditioning with neck, shoulder massage and hair wash - Loved it! Well, just except for my weird dried bangs but it was my mistake for not telling how I wanted them.

Moving on to friday:

- Body Scrub - I felt like a Minion over there! It was really funny! 

- Body Massage - First time on this also! Soooo good! Almost felt asleep over there!

- Spa Manicure and Pedicure - So nice and simple, like I like it! It was also the first time I tried an Essie nailpolish. I was wanting to try one of those for so long... 

 

- Hair Wash and Blow Dry - Just in time for a special dinner... 

Oh ! Just to mention, the last three items were made at the same time! I felt like a princess!

Final thoughts? If , for some reason, I lived in Dubai, this would be my salon for sure! And I really want to thank Jackie, Rubi, Fátima and everyone else I don't remeber the name (sorry!) for making me feel like a princess by doing such a great work! I really appreciate everything you did! And next time I will try the Moroccan Bath, for sure!

 

Olá a todos! Segunda e Sexta-feira foram os dias em que me entreguei às mãos das meninas do The Red Lounge para experimentar vários tratamentos de beleza. Posso dizer que adorei o atendimento e senti-me uma princesa lá! Experimentei pela primeira vez a maioria das coisas que fiz como a esfoliação e massagem corporal, a limpeza facial e a depilação do buço com linha. Só tenho coisas boas a apontar daqui! Até a depilação a linha não doeu praticamente nada e foi mesmo rápido! Uma pequena curiosidade, sabiam que no Dubai as mulheres quando dizem depilação completa referem-se mesmo a depilação completa? É que elas depilam braços, costas, barriga e mãos até! Nem quis experimentar, porque além desses pêlos não incomodarem, ia doer pra caraças ! Pronto, mais uma coisa para a vossa cultura geral.
